A Four Day Orientation Workshop For The New Vocation Directors.

A four-day workshop on the theme: DYNAMICS AND APPROACHES TO PROMOTING EFFECTIVE VOCATIONS IN THE CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY was organized for our new Directors of vocations in Ghana and Nigeria. The orientation was intended to help expose and equip our new Directors with some basic skills and principles in promoting vocations. This took place in the Our Lady of Africa Formation House, Navrongo and was facilitated by Br. Godfrey Kuubagr. He took the new Directors through the mission of the Director of vocations, personal composure and temperament as key factors in inviting and captivating new members as they are best and first contact persons of the (Presentation Brothers) Province in attracting vocations and urge them to eschew laxity.  Br. Godfrey urged them to provide the needed information, show interest and support for young people, regular visitation to family and workplaces of young people is very paramount. The Directors were encouraged to take part in vocation awareness weeks and to be passionate about vocation ministry. As part of the workshop, there was an outreach in the Navrongo Township.

Thanks to Br. Godfrey who made time to facilitate this important process and the two new Directors of Vocations Brs. Shuka and James who made themselves available for the orientation. All the Best in your new and challenging ministry.
