"A weekend of celebration, joy and encouragement" - Br Martin

Date: 22 Aug 2014

"This is a weekend of celebration, joy and encouragement. Let us all pray for these four courageous men! We thank their families and promise them our support for the years ahead."

- Brother Martin, our Congregation Leader, speaking in advance of this weekend's Final & First Professions in Ghana and Ireland.

This is a significant weekend in the life of our Congregation!

Brother Joseph Mukasa and Brother Godfred Beteryel will both make their Final Professions as Presentation Brothers in Ghana (Kongo church at 10am) on Saturday. During the same ceremony, Brother Raymond Jillum Kefas will make his First Profession of vows. The bishop of Navrongo-Bolgatanga, Most Rev. Alfred Agyenta will preside.

Meanwhile, at our Generalate at Mount St Joseph in Cork, our novice brother, Theiva Pillai, will make his First Profession. This will be a historic moment as Theiva is the first Sri Lankan to profess vows as a Presentation Brother.

Please pray for these men, the Brothers and their families.
