Alpha ends on a high note in Dublin

Date: 13 May 2015

The Spring 2015 edition of our Alpha course has come to an end at the Brothers' house in Glasthule, Co. Dublin.

"This year was the sixth time we have run Alpha in Glasthule," says Brother Andrew. "I like to think of it as an experience more than a course. At it's heart is the challenge of developing a mature, adult relationship with Christ. The cornerstone of Alpha is that this is not done on one's own or in isolation. We do it as a community travelling the same journey together."

"The feedback from the participants this year was tremendous," he added.

Feedback from Alpha 2015

It was never difficult to come on Tuesday evenings - in fact, I looked forward to it!

I enjoyed the opportunity to take ‘time out’ of a busy life to hear about, reflect on, and discuss spirituality  in the company of people who are searching, in their own way, for the ‘truth’.

I felt renewed by many of the topics we covered and by contact with this group of people.

It was structured in a really fantastic way over the ten weeks and I am so glad not to have missed any of it as it was all so beneficial.

I gained a much deeper knowledge of scripture.

I became more aware of God in my life.

I enjoyed the talks and I thought the group discussions really insightful.

I wish I had done the Alpha course years ago.

The Alpha course will run again in September this year. Full details here.
