Date: 30 Jan 2015

Fourteen students from the Christian Leadership in Education Office (CLEO) in Cork have been conferred with the Masters in Education (MEd) degree at the University of Hull. A total of six MEd graduates at the university were awarded a Distinction (i.e. First Class Honours) and a remarkable four of those six were CLEO students. All fourteen CLEO students attained an Honours grade in their respective MEds.

"These results match those of CLEO graduates over the years," says CLEO Director, Dr Frank Steele. "These results bear testimony to the calibre and commitment of our students".

In addition, Mícheál Cantillon-Murphy was awarded the Elizabeth Halsall Prize, an honour bestowed on the student deemed to have submitted the best MEd dissertation overall.

The Winter Conferring took place at Hull City Hall on Friday, 23rd January, 2015.

The CLEO students comprised a sizeable proportion of the thirty-five MEds which were conferred in all by the university.

Well done to each student and to Dr Frank Steele, the Director of CLEO.
