Killarney Novitiate Update

Date: 29 Aug 2016

Venue: Killarney

Our three Brothers from Sri Lanka – Theiva, Duglas and Stannie will begin a B.A. in Theology & Arts this year. They will study at St. Patrick's College and National University of Ireland Maynooth (N.U.I.M.). This is a joint degree between the state university (N.U.I.M.) and the Pontifical University. Br. Barry Noel will continue to be their formator, staying in regular contact with the three Brothers.

Theiva did a community placement in Mount St. Joseph during the year during which he completed a Youth Ministry Course at the Cork College of Commerce. We are glad to announce that two new candidates are expected in Killarney in September.

Br. David McCormick (Second Year Novice/Canada) is at present making the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius (30-day Retreat) at St. Beuno's Retreat Centre, North Wales.  It is hoped that David will do a placement in Ghana during the coming year.

Please keep all the young Brothers in formation, along with those who accompany them, in your prayers.
