Students visit Brothers in Bolgatanga, Ghana

Date: 25 Mar 2015

Our Brothers in Bolgatanga in northern Ghana received a visit from forty eight young members of the St Maria Goretti Society last week (Friday, 20th March).
"The students had many questions for the Brothers," explains Br James Debuo-Der, a member of the community. "They wanted to know what we do and who we are. They were interested in the differences between a Brother and a priest and they were curious about the origin of our name, 'Presentation Brothers'.
Br James was joined by Br Fidelis and Br Cletus in welcoming the visitors. The Brothers' community in Bolgatanga is named after the late Br Tom O'Connor, an Irishman who died while on mission in Ghana.
