Coordinator of Youth Ministry
This post requires enthusiasm, creativity, commitment and flexibility. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator who can relate easily to young people of all ages, ranging from primary school children to third level students and young professionals.
Previous experience of youth ministry engagement is essential. A nationally recognised professional qualification would be an advantage (though not essential) and a formal theological background would be welcome.
The ability to think strategically, work proactively, and motivate others as well as oneself is required. A deep understanding and commitment to the mission of the Catholic Church is essential. A passionate interest in the faith formation of young people is vitally important.
The post will be based at Presentation Brothers Youth Ministry (PBYM) Centre, Mardyke House in Cork City. Travel will also be required and a full, clean driving license is necessary.

Hours of work: 39 hours per week, including some evening and occasional weekend work. However, actual hours worked in a given week will be dictated by the requirements of the work programme and the demands of the organisation. Time in lieu will be considered.
Salary: €35,000 p.a. + travel expenses.
