Nigeria

We have two communities of Presentation Brothers in Nigeria.

Tafawa Balewa in Bauchi State
This is known as the Maryam Community in honour of our Blessed Mother.

Gboko in Benue State
This is our Brother James Prudumme Community, named in memory of the late Brother James – a Presentation Brother missionary from Canada who died in 1993 while serving in the Province.

Nigeria is a growing part of our West Africa Province! There are few Nigerian men in our postulancy programme and in our novitiate. Br Paul Atole was our first Nigerian Brother to be finally professed. There are a further few men who have made temporary vows.

If you are interested in our way of life and would like to discuss joining us in our mission, please contact our Vocations Director, Br. Shuka Zarmis at: [email protected]
