News: Brother Robert attends youth retreat in Grenada

Seventy young people have attended the annual COR youth retreat in Grenada. COR stands for Christ in Others and is organised by the diocesan youth service and Sr Gillian Jerome.

Brother Robert Fanovich, Presentation Brothers vocations director in the West Indies, presented the young people with a bible at the end of the closing Mass (photo left).

"The COR retreat is a weekend of deep sharing, love and fellowship," said Brother Robert. "The sacraments of reconciliation and the Eucharist feature prominently. There is also plenty of singing and dancing. There is also apostolic outreach with visitation of the poor, the old and the sick. There is also a big feast which everyone enjoys. Many bonds of friendship are created during this retreat experience."

"We wish every blessing on these young people for the years ahead."

The retreat took place in the local school beside the Presentation Brothers' residence.
