Year of Faith begins!
Today, Thursday 11th October 2012 marks the beginning of the Year of Faith.
The logo of the Year of Faith (left) is composed of a boat, symbolizing the Church, sailing on the waves. The main mast of the boat is a cross. The sails are displayed in the form of the trigram of Christ (IHS). The background to the sails is a sun which, associated with the trigram, refers also to the Eucharist.The Prayer for the Year of Faith will be the Nicene Creed.
